Questions contractors ask before they switch

Straight answers on launch timing, pricing, migration, and support. Same restrained format as the blog, just built for quick scanning.

Quick read

If you are evaluating JobHelm, the usual concerns are predictable: what it costs, whether migration is real, and how much support shows up after signup. Those answers are below in grouped accordions so you can jump straight to the part that matters.

Product + Launch

What JobHelm is, who it is for, and what to expect as rollout continues.

Private beta opens in 2026. Waitlist shops get first access, followed by guided onboarding waves.
HVAC, plumbing, electrical, handyman, and general contracting are the main launch trades. More trade presets get added after launch.
Yes. JobHelm includes iOS and Android apps, with CarPlay and Android Auto support on higher tiers.
The goal is to replace the fragmented stack. Scheduling, quoting, invoicing, payments, CRM, job costing, communication, and AI workflows live in one system.

Pricing + Billing

How pricing works, what is included, and where billing stays visible.

Yes. Plans, included users, overage pricing, and add-ons are published on the site so owners can see the math before talking to anyone.
No annual contract is required. Annual billing is available for shops that want the discount, but the default posture is clear monthly pricing.
Telecom services are billed separately at direct provider cost plus the stated integration maintenance fee. Business owners can see the running total during the billing cycle.
Included user ranges increase by plan, and published overage rates decrease as your team grows. The point is to keep team growth predictable instead of turning it into a pricing surprise.

Switching + Support

How migration, onboarding, and support are handled for shops moving from another system.

Yes. JobHelm is designed to import customer records, jobs, invoices, and service history so teams are not rebuilding from scratch.
A switch still needs planning, but the process is meant to be guided and staged. The focus is reducing double entry, protecting history, and training the office without blowing up day-to-day operations.
Yes. Guided setup is available across plans, and concierge migration is included on Business and above.
Support depends on plan level, ranging from email support on Starter to chat, phone, and dedicated success coverage on higher tiers.
